Time for a new blog

So it has been a LONG time since I have posted ... life in increasingly busy with 2 little ones. And the Wisconsin winter has been quite draining on me also.
I also have been really wanting to change this blog ... make it something more attractive ... something that is easier to post pictures too also ... not sure how to do it, but really thinking.
But of course that takes time ... which is something that does not come in an abundance right now ... my husband and babies are priority ... so the blog has been put on hold.
But tonight ... I am thinking and praying for my Little Liam ... he is quite sick. He has been running high fevers for the past couple days ... that even Motrin is only lowering a bit. Long doctor visits, blood draws, etc are exhausting. My heart aches to see him in pain .... and that he can't verbalize exactly what is going on is difficult.
I also am praying for the mothers that have or are having to go thru long-term medical illnesses with their children ... how painful it is to watch our children go thru pain - I can't even imagine what it must be seeing it everyday.
I also am thinking of Mary (Jesus mother) ... a mommy just like us ... watching her dear son suffer unthinkable pain ... and knowing that it was going to happen. What an amazing woman she must have been!
So no pictures tonight ... I am exhausted and don't want to wait to post them. Just wanting to share my heart and also ask for prayer for Liam to heal quickly.
Blessings

Getting Around

Liam has discovered a lot in the past couple weeks. He now knows how to climb stairs. He loves to pull himself up on everything and will crawl on anything that he can. Fun to watch - exhausting to keep up with. He loves pulling himself up on things and then letting go and laughing - it is quite funny. I am hoping to get a video - but am not doing so well getting them posted.
Liam laughing wanting to get upstairs.
On his way up the stairs.

He loves to get Larry's food - Larry needs to learn to eat it before Liam gets it

Getting the remote control is important.

Build A Bear (well really a monkey:)

When we were pregnant with Liam - we took a Build A Bear recorder to one of our
ultra-sound appointments and recorded Liam's heartbeat.
We took Liam to Build A Bear to build his monkey and put the recording of his heartbeat in it. I think daddy and mommy had more fun - though Liam will always have a monkey to remind him of the fun:)

Liam pushing the pedal to stuff his monkey (with daddy's help:)

Liam feeling his monkey to see if the stuffing is soft enough.
Daddy putting a heart into Liam's monkey
Laim carrying his monkey home-he is a very STRONG boy:)
Liam asking papa to help him carry his heavy box:)

Just my thoughts....I feel sad when people will say "Oh, this MUST BE your FIRST child" - whenever we are excited or take pictures with Liam. I know that if God blesses us with more children, life will get even more busy, but I hope and pray that I have excitement for each of my children - and long to make memories with them!

More Fun Days

It is late - but I wanted to post a few quick pictures.
We continue to enjoy Todd's sister and family from Arizona.

Yesterday (Thursday) Liam and I joined Grandpa and the family up at the cottage about 1 1/2 hour away. (We missed Daddy as he had to work:( The mosquitoes were aweful - so Liam and I spent a lot of time inside - but still enjoyed the peacefulness. And of course Liam enjoyed his cousins. He gets the biggest smiles when he sees them - it is so cute!

Today - we had lunch together and waited for the rain to quit so that we could go to Badger Sport. We then played miniture golf together and the boys really enjoyed Go-Carting:) It was a hot day after the rain.

Tommorrow is another adventure as Liam gets to meet some his cousins from Madison.

WHY?

Today has been long. I feel such joy when holding my precious baby - yet my heart aches as I hear of the recent deaths of others babies. As believers we have a hope in Christ - yet the pain as my friend describes still is unbearable. I ask(actually beg) God that I NEVER have to experience that particular pain in my life as I gaze at my son with tears knowing that he really is a gift from God on loan. I continue to ask God to give me what I need to love my baby well. As I hold my baby's precious face before God, I thank Him for every precious moment that He has given him to us. Each facial expression, body movement and coo is a special memory for us.

Please pray for those who have recently lost a baby - that in the midst of their sorrow, they are able to experience the love of our Father God. A Father who loves us even more than we love our own children (that is a deep love that is hard to comprehend).

Busy day

What a busy day - we had a lot of friends come and visit Liam today. Don't let these pictures of Liam fool you - he doesn't sleep like this a lot:) We really enjoyed our time with friends today and I am reminded of how blessed we are to have such dear friends in our lives who love and care for us!

5 WEEKS Today

Today, Liam is 5 weeks old - and has it ever gone by fast. He continues to be a joy for us each day. We love him so much!
Today, he wore shoes for the first time - his little feet are growing fast. He looked so cute in his little outfit. He is much happier naked though:) He is such an alert baby - he likes to know what is going on, so doesn't sleep much.
We are blessed to continue to have family and friends stop by often. We love sharing with you as Liam is growing quickly.
Each time I look at his precious face - I am reminded of what a Great God we have to have given us such a gift.

ALMOST 30 WEEKS

OUR PRECIOUS BLESSING

Here are a few pictures of our baby boy at 28 weeks. He likes to have his little hand covering his cute face. The doctor says that he is an active and healthy baby boy - and that we will have our hands full. It is funny watching her try to take pictures of a baby that will not stop moving:)
The doctor has confirmed the his feet are definitely kicking my right ribs and that is why I feel like I am walking around with bruised ribs constantly - again all worth it, but it is painful!
When I look at these pictures of our baby, my heart longs to hold him in our arms. We are SO blessed!

25 WEEKS

Well, here are the 'Belly' pictures finally

We are all doing well. I am feeling so much better. Though I am still tired a lot - I am waiting for that burst of energy to come. Our lovely Wisconsin winter is not helping either - I am ready to see some spring. Please continue to keep us in your prayers!

We are so excited and thankful to be expecting a baby in early June.

They say that baby is doing well and quite photogenic at this age. The baby never stopped moving the entire ultrasound:) Wait until I can feel it....
