We started a garden for the first time this year .... though it is small ... we have been blessed with some tasty veggies!!

Q was not so sure about the cherry tomatoes at first ... but got a little taste and yummy!

Additionally, we have had multiple salads with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. And I have been able to can about 4 jars of pickles so far (next year I will plant dill, who knew there would be such a shortage this year). We have some tasty green bean, but those didn't fair quite so well ... silly rabbits who also enjoyed my broccoli ... boohoo:(It has been fun to see Todd and the boys enjoying the garden also .... !

We just picked a handful of grape tomatos and three big ones. Yum! So far the boys don't like them plain, but the rest of us are loving it!

Augh, LUCKeeeeee!! Love the pics. Gardens are the best ever. Some friends who live nearby let us babysit their garden while they traveled to China, and I LOOOved getting the fresh tomatoes. Then they brought us over a bag full on Sunday! When Susie sees them sitting on the counter she says "ISS ISS iSS!" But I'm not sure if she thinks she likes them as food or toys. :)
