Badger Days

We had the opportunity to go to Badger Days at Lambeau Field tonight. It is a dinner and hang-out time with the coaches from the sport teams at UW Madison. It was a fun time .... and the boys enjoyed it.
The evening started out a bit on the sad side for Liam ... he got his big toe caught under the big metal door coming into the building ... basically ripping his toenail off and the skin around it. Yikes ... makes my toes quiver thinking about it. He was a sport ... I was able to clean off a lot of blood in the bathroom and found a bandaid to cover it ... he needed to be carried for quite a while ... as he is a slow walker limping:( Poor kid ....
When we got home, we cleaned it up, etc ... amazingly, he did great .... he is such a good kid.
I love that boy!!!!
Now they are both in their beds asleep ... and mom is hoping to get some rest too:)

Liam playing hockey ... the toe didn't keep him from having fun
Sweet baby 'Q' playing with his autographed football
The boyz were not amused with a picture with Bucky Badger
Doesn't Coach Alvarez look thrilled to have his picture taken?

Your boys are precious!! And I have family from WI that would LOVE to get to go on that field!!

Also- you had asked about the basil & goat cheese pizza- it's really so simple- I just used a thin crust (or even better if you can make your own!) and used Muir organic tomato sauce, fresh basil (tear into pieces and put all over pizza) and sprinkle goat cheese crumbles on top! I've also added other toppings like grilled mushrooms, etc. Bake until cooked like you like it. YUM.
