Weekend

Daddy giving Liam a bottle

I was asked to sing on our worship team at church this weekend - I was excited as God has been giving me a peace about serving at our church, but it was also a sacrifice as I would be away from Liam for over 2 hours for the first time and he would need a bottle.
I know this may seem silly to many - but Todd & I have committed to doing attatchment parenting - so one of us has been with Liam since he has been born. And I have been with him the most as Todd is working and I am his sole source of food:)
So we introduced the bottle (with breastmilk, of course) .... Liam did great and daddy too.

Below you will see Liam all bundled up at the Timber Rattler game Saturday night, his first Baseball game. We were in attendance with dad's friends from work for their Summer party. Mom joined us after worship which made dad's life a little easier as this was his first adventure out on his own with Liam. Thanks to Missy and Shay below, the evening went off without a hitch and the Timber Rattlers won in extra innnings! Shortly after that, Liam slept through his first Fireworks show.

Mommy holding Liam when she arrived to the game - he immediatley went to sleep in her arms.

How does the Cotten Candy taste Missy? Shay holding Liam

We are ready to go home!!

Dad and Liam ending the weekend!!
(Doesn't Liam look like his daddy:)

I'm so glad you jumped in to sing. It's so good for the daddies to have one-on-one time with their babies . . . they do things a little differently than the mommies, which is good for everyone.

As for the resemblence, it is striking -- especially because of the hairdos!
Love,
Nancy
